Overview
Overview
Configuration Analysis is a tool that promotes the creation and updating of configurations, completing unfinished and missing configurations for clients and attaching configurations to tickets. Configuration Analysis is a Score My Team module that gives your team incentive to create update or complete relevant configurations by granting those points for doing so correctly. Creating a configuration receives the most points, updating a configuration receives the second most Points, however not all Configurations are created equally. Team members with more complete configurations are scored higher than those team members who have not maintained their configurations.
Configuration Analysis is scored and displayed as the Configuration Checklist Percentage Score, viewable at the bottom of the Configuration Checklist page under Configuration Station. Enticing Engineers with points towards their total Score My Team score makes certain that relevant configurations for clients and tickets are consistently added, updated and completed to ensure accuracy.
How It Works
How It Works
- Creating a configuration receives the most points, updating a configuration receives the second most Points, however not all Configurations are created equally.
- Created Configurations that are missing information receive fewer Points for creation. Created configurations that are place holders for Not Applicable configurations, such as “Wireless Settings – N/A”, receive fewer points as well as updated Configurations that are missing information.
- You can receive points for attaching a configuration to a ticket, attaching a configuration with warnings and attaching a N/A configuration.
- When a valid configuration is attached to a ticket the creator and last updater of the configuration receive utilization points, you only receive utilization points when someone else attaches the configuration.
- Points are distributed in near real-time when a configuration is created, updated or attached to a ticket.
- When a ticket moves to the closed state any points originally granted that no longer apply, such as a configuration no longer being attached to a ticket, are removed. Every time you are allocated positive points, the points are multiplied by the Configuration Checklist Percentage Score.
- Each Company’s Checklist Percentage Score is calculated using the formula: – missing required configurations / required configuration count – ((warning configurations / active configuration count) * .25). The averages of these percentages are then applied to the Account Manager and Primary Tech.
- When an Account Manager or Primary Tech has achieved a 100% score on Configuration Checklist, his Configuration Analysis scores are multiplied by 1.5 rather than 1.0 as an additional bonus for achieving 100% coverage.Members with no companies assigned as an Account Manager or Primary Tech will default to a Configuration Percentage Score of 1.00 or 100%
- The Configuration Checklist Percentage Scores are viewable at the bottom of the Configuration Checklist page under Configuration Station and the scores are only updated when someone visits the Configuration Checklist page. The Configuration Checklist Percentage Score at the time Configuration Points were allocated will be the percentage used
